Dr. Kei Nakamura, MD, is a Professor Emeritus at Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo and the Honorary Director of the Jikei University Center for Morita Therapy. He also serves as Honorary Director of the RIC Mental Clinic. He graduated from Jikei University School of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He is widely recognized in Japan as a psychiatrist specializing in Morita therapy and the treatment of anxiety disorders and depression.

 

Dr. Nakamura served as President of the Japanese Society for Morita Therapy (JSMT) for nine years and currently serves as an Honorary Member of the JSMT, an Advisor to the Executive Board, and Chair of the Society’s Award Selection Committee. He also serves as a Director of the Japan Naikan Association and a Councilor of the Japanese Society of Psychopathology.
